Square Tavern in Baraboo

Both are burgers were undercooked even though they try to be nice but it really wasn't that great

I think that it should be a 0 star. I got a carry out of Cod and fries. The fries were soggy with NO SALT. The cod was okay but fell apart everytime I picked it up. You should not get a carryout.

Took a while to get waited on because there was only one bartender but the chicken dinner was awesome!

Burgers are the main staple of the bar food. Burgers are served on wax paper. And made to order. Delicious. Bar seating is a norm , with few tables. A wisc. Bar of old school experience.

The perfect local tavern. Missed out on trying the meat snacks however.

No fried cheese curd should EVER be squared. This is by far the BEST place for cheese curds in Wisconsin. Downtown Baraboo has a certain old-school Americana with a diversity-friendly charm that is hard to find. The Square Tavern is a must stop to your trip to Devil’s Lake or on your way to Madison (and the famous Graze). The white cheese curds over the yellow ones! 💕

Great little bar with reasonable prices on drinks and food. We loved both the waitresses we had (went there two nights in a row while visiting the area). Looking forward to our next visit.

Stopped in for lunch. Nice atmosphere, great old Wisconsin tavern vibe. Burgers are ok, not great, not terrible. Service was friendly given how busy the place was. Not sure if I'll be back.....

Good drinks and friendly staff. I have only been here once when I was passing though. If I was sitting in Baraboo for a while I would definitely visit again to see what else this bar has to offer. Bloody Mary's are ok, nothing to write home about, but they do the trick.

Awesome tavern owned by the wonder Neil Caflisch who owned Coach House. Go check this place out in replace of the coach house being flooded you won’t be disappointed.
